I have official been reading too much vamp smut. This may be too much information but oh well, this is a blog right?
So last night while in the middle of some hot and heavy action with my real life flesh and blood husband, I was not able to climax. He is good, so that is not common. Here's why.
He was behind me and pulled my hair to the right which caused my neck to arch, I immediatly wanted him to bite me. WHAT THE HELL? I caught myself before I said it and told him to kiss me there instead, but it didn't work :(
Am I seriously messed up or has anyone else expirenced something similar?

LOL - nope, you're not alone! After a pretty wild night a couple of weeks ago (which was induced by Morgaine's story "Late" on the TB wiki), hubby asked me the next day if I was ready to fool around again. I looked him straight in the eyes and said "You'll have to heal me first!" He gave me the oddest look, and I just turned around and left the room. Of course I immediately had to go report this incident on the wiki.... I'm just waiting for the time when I need a "bite".
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone!
lol, that is great to hear.
ReplyDeleteHaha, in the heat of the moment I've actually asked my BF to... um... take a bite. Yea, I got funny looks for a couple days after that. Now it's kind of a go-to fantasy for me.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should start a support group - VSA, Vampire Sex Anonymous- or something, for those of us with... different... tastes in the bedroom. LOL
You're not alone. Trust me. I got a weird look when I pretty much demanded to be bitten. I've also had to bite my lip to keep from moaning the name Eric. Ooops. Between reading smut, and writing smut, my mind has pretty much been focused on only that.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should share some of the reading material with our SO's?
ReplyDeleteA few days after I'd told hubby that he'd have to heal me he said to me "You scare me some times." - he was mostly joking, and not sure he was talking about my comment - or the actual night before.....must do more research and get back to you on that one!
lol VSA... i've had to hold back from moaning Eric too, can't hold back in my sleep tho so my secrets out...oops. My hubby thinks this is all silly. He thinks all fiction is silly actually but who cares? I hope your SOs are more receptive to your fantasys though. As for me what's going on in my head won't hurt him ;)
ReplyDeleteIs there really such a thing as too much vamp smut? I think not. I have had similar situations happen to me as well. I live in fear that one night I'll talk in my sleep. My husband used to hate Eric and Bill. I think he now has a new found appreciation for them. He has no room to talk. Not so very long ago he turned on HBO and yelled at me from the other room, "Honey, you gotta check out this vampire show. " And the rest was history :-)
ReplyDeleteYou all just stated my worst fear (so glad I'm not alone). Though I don't have an SO at the moment, I was dating a guy for a while when I first started reading vampire smuttyness and I had to refrain from accidentally introducing him as "my mate" or "my lover" at least a couple times. I swear...the next guy I date better be named Eric, at least that'll save me some embarrassment. :P
ReplyDeleteI call my husband "lover" all the time on accident. He's 6'5" and German, close enough.
ReplyDeleteMy husband's name is Ernest, so if I start to slip I am covered!!! He tried to get upset when my ff obsession began but now he doesn't complain. It is getting him way more action than he had been receiving, so he is all good now!
ReplyDeletemy hubby loves my FF addiction. I get all hot and bothered and come (haha) to bed.
ReplyDeleteNo, you're as normal as apple pie. Those of us who are true TB vamp smut loving women, are also experiencing something along the same lines. When I close my eyes while my husband and I are going at it, all I can picture is Eric or Alex. I'm so afraid that I'm going to start screaming "Oh, Eric" or "Oh, Alex!" And that can throw me off my game as well. I don't know we can do, short of never reading these stories again but then I know my husband woudn't be as happy as he has been! I guess it's a side effect that we are going to have to deal with someway, somehow. If anyone has any tips, I sure would like to hear them.
